Martini of
the Month

I am a single, gay, white man living in Southwest Florida. I'm originally from Cleveland where it was very cold and snowy. I'm glad not to have to live with that weather any longer. I am and IT manager for a local furniture company and I work way too much. I worked on the weekends at Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom up to March of this year. I still might go back to working there one weekend a month.

In addition to my house here in Florida I own a condo in Mexico (in the Riviera Maya between Cancun and Playa del Carmen) along with 3 friends. Two of them are a gay couple that have been together for 27 years. They own 1/3 of the unit, I own 1/3 and another friend owns 1/3. We love it there and I hope to have a very early retirement there.

I have a dog and a cat. I use to have fish but their fish tank caught on fire 2 years ago while I was at Disney World. My house had a lot of damage but everyone other than the fish survived. I will never have a fish tank again.

I am the oldest of 3 kids and my parents are still happily married. I have been sky diving 5 times, I'm SCUBA certified but never go, I like the outdoors. I like plating things but I hate weeding.

I'm a Disney freak and always have been. I worked at the local zoo for 7 years and was an animal trainer and did educational shows. I like the TV show The 4400. I love vampire stories (books and movies). I read as much nonfiction as I do fiction. My favorite colors are green and blue and my favorite food is pizza. I love martinis and diet Pepsi.

This is photo is one of my friends that is a coowner of our condo in Mexico when we worked together at the local zoo. The cat is a clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa). I raised him from the time he was cub. I love nature and science and environmental causes. I go the local beach and pick up garbage every year on Earth Day. It’s my own little private way of giving back to the community.
